Bebe MacLean – Celtic Music
Bebe’s recordings reflect a lifetime of hearing songs of the Celtic tradition and songs of the sea in the midst of Scottish summer concerts in Cape Breton, piano lessons, picking up guitar along the way and singing anytime, anywhere. She now teaches and performs, enjoying passing on her knowledge of both instruments and the music. In her CDs, she finds a balance between the songs that are presented more simply and those that use busier arrangements. Her rich voice is prominent in all these songs, sometimes with her own added harmonies.
Lisa Cameron, Jeannie Beks, & Christine Campbell – Christmas Music
Having played a few local venues along with two other members of their songwriter’s circle and finding that their music was well received, the trio decided to record some of their original tunes. “It was Jeannie and Chris that came up with the idea to do a Christmas/winter themed record”, says Cameron. “I thought it was a great idea.” Through the Winter
consists of 10 original tracks…..three from each singer/songwriter with the last one and title track being a collaborative effort. The record is a reflection of the writers’ feelings about Christmas and the wonderful but sometimes challenging Cape Breton winters.

SeaBright Productions is a micro digital video production studio situated at the home of producer/director Peter Murphy and is situated on the coast of St. Georges Bay, Eastern mainland Nova Scotia. Just across the bay is the Inverness shoreline of Cape Breton Island, the heartland of Canada’s Celtic culture and music and the inspiration for many of SeaBright’s video productions.
Now after 10 major productions, half of which have been broadcast nationally, SeaBright has established itself as the major source of productions dealing with Cape Breton music and other types of Celtic music.
